My name is Tami Shepard and I am the founder of Instructional Innovation.  

I have been on the forefront of learning strategies throughout my career.  I incorporated blended learning into my coursework through the the use of screen recording software before it was popularized.  Through analysis, I learned of the struggles that my learners were experiencing.  I addressed the knowledge gap by incorporating engaging experiences using adult learning principles to increase the understanding and retention of the information. This approach fostered a more impactful and effective learning environment which included eLearning, Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT), and Instructor-Led Training (ILT).  

Recognizing the importance of learner-centered training is crucial in today's educational landscape. Engaging learners and catering to their individual needs and preferences can greatly enhance their motivation, participation, and overall learning outcomes.  By prioritizing engagement and adult learning theories , I can create an environment that encourages active participation and a deeper connection with the content.
